This is absolutely incorrect and nothing illegal whatsoever. The Samsung owned version of Windows 7 has all of the drivers and they are configured to work correctly with the operating system. I can download the drivers from Samsung, but they still wont be configured to work with the operating system correctly. Also, a Windows owned Windows 7 will not be compatible with most of the function keys on the Samsung keyboard.

The only way to re-use my original key is to use Samsung's Windows 7 Premium ISO file. It keeps giving me a error message saying that my key can only be used for Samsung's version of Windows 7 Premium SP1 owned by Samsung. Don't download and install the BIOS update from Samsung Update for your machine. If anyone else needs these files and is in the same boat with a Samsung Windows 7 computer, send me a message. Update: I found the ISO for Samsung's OEM Windows 7 Prem SP1.
